As a member of the APLNG Gathering Work Contractor panel Mitchell’s scope of works included the planning, design, manufacture, fabrication, assembly, construction (inclusive of general site clearance, construction of general civils, HDPE gas and water gathering systems, surface well pad infrastructure, fibre optic cable, HV and LV infrastructure works installation, testing and commissioning) in both Brownfield or Greenfield site environments for their well development programme.

APLNG is Australia’s largest producer of coal seam gas (CSG), supplying Queensland’s domestic gas market, as well as processing CSG into liquefied natural gas to meet growing export demand. Exploration for CSG in central and south west Queensland extends through the Bowen and Surat basins, with nearby towns including Roma, Chinchilla and Miles.
