A major challenge on the project from the outset was the resistance of several key Landowners to joining the scheme threatening to derail the project. Face to face meetings between the Landowners and Managing Director Wayne Mitchell established Landowner consent for the 40km of pipelines to be constructed through their properties, with access points omitted pending resolution of Water Authority issues.
Mitchell was engaged on a Lump Sum EPC basis:
Engineer: including detail design of the pipeline alignments, profiles, road, waterway & service crossings, vents & drains, taking into account landholder constraints, endangered habitat and access issues, and SMS all to APGA CSG Gathering code.
Procure: including the purchase, transport, storage and correct dispatch of all materials and external services providers.
Construct: Install, test and commission the pipelines, and handover As Built GIS and complete MDR.
