Apprenticeship program
A Mitchell apprenticeship puts you on live projects from your first week, working alongside experienced tradespeople and some of the most innovative plant in the industry. You’ll finish with a nationally recognised qualification and a career to build on.
The program
PAID, FULL-TIME
Paid, full-time employment for the length of your apprenticeship.
TRAINING
Formal training through a registered training organisation or TAFE, with on-the-job learning on Mitchell projects.
LOCATION
Based in the Eastern States, with opportunities on regional projects.
INTAKE
One intake each year. Places are limited.
Real work from day one
You’ll build practical skills on real water and gas pipeline projects.
Every apprentice works alongside skilled tradespeople who want to see them qualify.
Learn on and around Mitchell’s own patented equipment, maintained in-house to a very high standard.
Apprentice to qualified tradesperson, then leading hand, supervisor and beyond.
The trades
I started with Mitchell in 2006 through a civil construction traineeship. Over the years I’ve had plenty of opportunities to learn, take on more responsibility and work my way up to Construction Supervisor. It’s pretty rewarding to look back and see how far I’ve come.
