Placements run over the university break and put you on a live Mitchell project, with an experienced engineer as your mentor.

Graduate program

Responsibility early, support all the way.

You’ll join a project team and see every stage of delivery, from survey and design through to construction and commissioning.

  • Live water and gas projects across eastern states
  • Mentoring from senior engineers and project managers
  • Exposure to Mitchell’s in-house survey team and specialised plant
  • Support towards professional accreditation (MBA, Environmental and WHS studies, Leadership Training)

Mitchell looks for people who’d rather be on site than behind a desk, who are open to regional work, and who ask good questions.

  • Studying, or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Survey/GIS or Construction Management
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A current driver’s licence
